Track and manage stock levels of IT assets, ensuring adequate supplies are available for the team and end users. Perform regular audits of IT equipment and ensure accurate records are maintained. Procurement and Stock Replenishment
Assist in the ordering and procurement of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, and accessories. Collaborate with your customer and their vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing. Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering when necessary to avoid shortages or excess inventory. Asset Tracking and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of all IT equipment, including serial numbers, purchase dates, warranty information, and location. Track the deployment and return of IT assets, ensuring they are properly logged and monitored. Prepare regular reports on inventory usage, trends, and forecasting. Equipment Allocation and Deployment
Manage the allocation and deployment of IT equipment to staff, ensuring all hardware and software needs are met for new hires, project teams, or replacements. Provide assistance with setting up and configuring new equipment for employees. Maintenance and Repair Coordination
Coordinate repairs, upgrades, or replacements of faulty or outdated equipment. Liaise with service providers for warranty claims, repairs, or technical support when required. Waste and Disposal Management
Ensure the safe disposal or recycling of obsolete or faulty IT equipment in compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. Technical Skills and Requirements
Proven experience in IT inventory management, asset tracking, or a similar role in an IT department. Familiarity with inventory management software or asset management tools is a plus. Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts. Knowledge of client application installation and troubleshooting skills. Competent communication skills - interacting at various levels across the customer and the BT organisation. Competent analytical and creative skills. Competent organisational skills. 1 – 2 years’ experience in an IT equipment/stock coordination. Customer Service Skills

Full, clean UK driving license and willingness to travel in Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset as required. Eligibility for police NPPV3 vetting and an understanding of confidentiality requirements.
