Stock Finance Accountant

to join our team of experienced professionals on a 12 month FTC. Based at our Leicestershire head office, this is an exciting opportunity to manage key financial processes, work with stakeholders across the business, and contribute to the success of Next and our Third-Party clients. What You’ll Be Doing: Analysing and reconciling faulty costs across the business, ensuring accurate recording in our Profit & Loss statements. Preparing performance reports for key stakeholders, including Third-Party clients and Group subsidiaries. Collaborating with various teams, including field, warehouse, and product tech managers, to manage faulty costs and debit suppliers where necessary. Reporting and analysing costs related to Lipsy, Joules, and branded products, including slippage costs and refurbishments. Identifying cost-saving opportunities for faulty stock, furniture inspections, sample costs, and label costs. Preparing budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses to support decision-making and drive business performance. Addressing ad hoc queries and providing insightful commentary to stakeholders. What We’re Looking For: Experience:

At least 3 years in a finance role, with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Qualifications:

CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified. Excel Expertise:

Advanced Excel skills, including PowerPivot (preferred). Communication Skills:

Confident in building relationships across teams and investigating discrepancies. Self-Motivation:

A self-starter who can manage a diverse workload and adapt to new challenges. Accuracy:
