We are seeking a Stock Integrity Supervisor to play an instrumental role in the running of our distribution centre. SMI is a leading supplier to Britain's workforce; delivering solutions such as workwear, PPE, cleaning and hygiene supplies, and workforce supplies.
This role is based at our Fareham site, working 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday.
What will I be doing?
You will lead the stock team, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout our operation for our £5m+ stock holding. You'll gain an understanding of how other departments work, making decisions that ensure the right products are in the right places and overseeing a team of operatives to ensure all individuals are kept motivated and consistently achieving the team KPI’s.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring stock accuracy using stock team operatives & methods like cycle counts.
Accommodating new SKU’s from the supply chain team & ensuring they are setup correctly on our system.
Working with Procurement in managing SLOB Stock.
Understanding & root causing issues within other departments that impact stock accuracy to ensure flow of daily tasks for the Picking & Replen team.
Reviewing daily inventory adjustments to ensure the correct write on/off reasons and nominals have been used with WMS.
Investigating and reporting high value adjustments to management.
Care of existing SKU’s on the shelves to ensure accuracy & capacity for demands & sales of the company.
Managing non-stock & overflow stock locations to ensure accuracy & tidiness for picking teams.
Completing the Stock Control ‘Operational and System checks’ regularly and on-time.
Proactively updating or creating Policies and Procedures that relate to your Department to ensure good business codification.
Working with the Auditors for end of year Stock Audit.
Overseeing the Stock team.
What do I need to be successful?
To become a Stock Integrity Supervisor with SMI, you will need:
Previous team leader or supervisor experience within a warehouse environment.
Previous stock control experience.
Previous WMS experience.
Confidence with the use of Microsoft Excel.
Good with numbers, able to grasp key stock control terminology.

What will I get in return?

A salary of £30,000 - £33,000.
Entry into our Growth by Sharing bonus scheme upon successful completion of probation.
