Full job description Job Summary and Mission The store manager is responsible for acting in accordance with, and as an ambassador of Starbucks guiding principles, culture and values; embracing our coffee culture and keeping it at the heart of everything we do. This role contributes to Starbucks success by leading a store team to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners. Responsibilities: Inspire great performance by demonstrating passion for our culture, coffee and customers. Regularly exercise initiative in managing the overall operation of the store. Have full awareness of the store’s financial performance and manage their business accordingly. Ensure compliance with regard to all relevant health & safety, and security policies. Adhere to all applicable health & safety and employment laws. Support the growth of individual partners through effective application of existing performance and development tools. Maintain positive relationships with the store team by seeking to understand partner challenges, needs and aspirations, then applying the appropriate coaching principles to help them improve and succeed. Manage ongoing partner performance concerns in a timely manner, using relevant company tools and processes. Regularly provide constructive feedback and set challenging but realistic goals to drive engagement and improve partner performance. Role model personal growth through self-awareness and reflection, encouraging others to do the same. Use all available company recognition tools to drive a culture of reward and recognition in store, both at individual and team level. Delegate appropriate responsibilities to develop partners and support consistent delivery of the Starbucks Experience. Work regular weekends, early mornings, and evenings as required to meet the needs of the business. Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience managing people and teams in a retail environment. Effective problem-solving/decision-making skills. Proven ability to develop and grow both a team and business. Well organized, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Able to effectively prioritize and delegate. Job Type:
