Retail Store Manager

with one of the UK’s leading eyecare providers and selling premium eyewear brands such as Ray-Ban, Oakley and Prada?

At Vision Express we are currently looking for a Retail Store Manager Designate to support our stores across the West and South Yorkshire areas including regular travel to locations such as

Huddersfield ,

Barnsley

and

Doncaster . As this role will require regular travel, the successful applicant will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle. Travel expenses will be provided to locations agreed outside of your regular base store.

Typically, this Retail Store Manager will be responsible for managing a team of up to 10 colleagues and we are looking for a strong people leader, that is comfortable with change and managing performance. As part of this role, you’ll receive an exciting induction that will enable you to work with colleagues across the region and develop your profile leadership capabilities for future roles within the business.

Although the hours of this role are advertised, if this sounds like the role for you, we'd love to hear about your ideal working week. Whether this is hours to fit around the school run or you prefer a compressed week - we are open to discussing flexible options with you further.

Some experiences you might have:

Previous experience of developing a store improvement plan. Managing resource to meet demand and maximise sales. Solving complex problems for colleagues and customers. Remaining delivery focused throughout challenging times. Being customer obsessed and providing exceptional customer service. Showing emotional intelligence to support yourself, colleagues or customers in difficult moments. Working as part of a winning team and taking lessons from mistakes. Managing a team, selecting and developing colleagues and working with HR. Displaying a positive attitude that has influenced others to commit to a cause.
