These large, well-established and well-known multiple opticians are now looking for an Optical Practice Manager to join their team in one of their practices in the Enfield area. You will be joining a medium-sized team of 20 staff, in a professional yet clinical environment. This opportunity will be working full time, including 1 weekend day per week!

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager:
Manage, control and oversee the shopfloor staff.
Training & development, identifying areas of improvement, creating individual plans and targets, and implementing these to overcome such areas.
Ensure the shopfloor team are seeing to patients, answering phones, and completing their daily duties.
Previous people management experience is required as you will be managing a team of 20 staff.
Strong optical knowledge is required as you will be dispensing regularly as part of the role, leading the team by example.
Cover the practice when the Practice Manager is absent and take on additional responsibilities temporarily.
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager:
Proven experience working in a busy retail business, ideally in Optics.
Experience managing a team.
Confident leader capable of delegating, training staff, and maintaining control of the shopfloor.
Friendly, yet professional demeanor to work with and lead a team while building relationships.
Previous optical experience and competence in all dispensing, along with a wide range of frames and lens knowledge.
