Must have a minimum of two years store management and optics experience. Main Duties: Manage the overall performance of the team to achieve financial targets considering the retail calendar year. Drive the store key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage health and safety effectively and ensure the store remains compliant. Ensure your own and your team’s personal development is actively undertaken and aligns with the business objectives. Provide assistance and supervision in the Lab, in the absence of the Lab Manager & Assistant Manager. Mentor and coach subordinates in all aspects of daily store operations, highlighting high performance and underperformance amongst all diagnostic staff. Deliver complex dispensing and advanced problem solving. Dispense complex prescriptions, including ability to demonstrate how to calculate edge thickness for a variety of frames and lenses, including plus and minus prescriptions and oblique cyls and lenticular lenses.
