Store Manager

Store Manager Our client, a Hair and Beauty supplier, is seeking a Store Manager to join their small and friendly team based in Slough. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a salary of up to £28,000 plus bonus. The store is open 7 days a week, so some weekend work will be required. What will you be doing? As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of Store Assistants who are driven to deliver high operational standards and become experts in sales and service. You will ensure a fully operational and compliant store at all levels. With a commercial mindset, you will think outside the box and have a plan to build new business opportunities to support the overall district business plan. You will coach and develop team members to high levels of service and selling skills, manage and motivate the store team to deliver targets, and identify commercial trends, suggesting improvements to the product range to drive business forward. You will keep up to date on the hair and beauty industry, including the latest trends, products, and brands. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and growing the store team while building strong working relationships across the store. You will ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and relevant legal requirements, maintaining adequate controls to secure all company assets (store cash, products, data).
