Stores Person / Stock Controller , Based in Marchwood, working days Monday to Friday 40 hrs, Salary: £12.91ph + overtime at time & half, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays) with option to purchase holidays, pension, life insurance and excellent training / career development opportunities.

We have an opportunity for a Stores Person / Stock Controller to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The Stores Person assists with goods receiving, safe storage and issuing of materials to end users and ordering of materials and associated administration. The ideal candidate will have previous Stores / Stock Controller experience. Forklift Driver licence, power pallet truck or low loader picker (LLOP) qualification would be an advantage but is not essential as training can be given.

Main Tasks:

Receipt of and checking goods in, ensuring delivered in good condition Off load vehicles using mechanical handling equipment Organise, sort and manage stock levels Chase late delivery/missing goods Maintain stock records and stock take Operate B1 Forklift (training can be provided) Supply materials to General Operatives as required Ensure goods are stored in a safe and acceptable manner General stores duties including maintaining a clean and tidy workplace
