You should have experience of negotiating long term contracts, sourcing new components within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Ideally with experience of purchasing electro mechanical assemblies or components.

JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the purchasing and inventory management of product groups assigned to support MRP, Kanban, Sales Orders or R&D.
Sourcing of new components and assemblies from new and existing suppliers
Responsible for the supplier relationship management
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Essential
Experience in negotiating long term contract with suppliers
Have been responsible for sourcing new components
Will have knowledge of working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of procuring of purchasing electro mechanical assemblies or components
