Strategic Child Protection Lead. This role is responsible for leading safeguarding efforts within the council and its partnerships, aiming for outstanding services for children and families. Key responsibilities include: Strategic & Operational Leadership:

Driving improvements in safeguarding practices across the board. Prioritizing Child Safety:

Ensuring the safety and well-being of children is the highest priority. Risk Response:

Managing timely and appropriate responses to children at risk, following established procedures. Essentially, this person is the lead on child protection, working to ensure all systems and responses are effective and prioritize the safety of children.
