Job Description At AECOM, we are at the forefront of the energy sector's transformation, driving the shift toward a more sustainable and inclusive future. As Europe accelerates efforts to reduce carbon emissions and transition to clean energy, we're playing a pivotal role in delivering innovative, low-carbon energy solutions that meet the growing demands of the industry, our communities, and the planet. You will be entrusted with the following critical responsibilities: Project Delivery: Ensure the successful execution and completion of high-stakes energy advisory projects, adhering to stringent quality standards and timelines. Business Development: Strategically identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the energy sector. Team Leadership: Provide authoritative guidance and mentorship to team members, cultivating a high-performance environment that aligns with organisational objectives. Thought Leadership: Establish oneself as a preeminent authority in the field, contributing substantive insights and innovative solutions to complex energy challenges. Industry Expertise: Maintain and continuously expand an in-depth understanding of the low carbon market in the UK, with particular emphasis on renewable power, Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), and industrial decarbonisation. Strategic Leadership: Demonstrate exceptional strategic acumen and collaborative skills, leveraging comprehensive industry knowledge of the low carbon market in Europe. Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, from C-suite executives to investors, effectively communicating complex technical information. Problem-Solving and Analysis: Apply robust analytical skills to interrogate data, derive meaningful insights, and develop strategic solutions to intricate energy-related challenges. Presentation and Communication: Deliver high-impact presentations and written communications that effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. Industrial Decarbonisation: Leverage extensive experience in working with industrial clients to drive forward critical decarbonisation initiatives. Organisational Agility: Demonstrate the ability to navigate and thrive within a dynamic, large-scale matrix organisation, adapting swiftly to evolving priorities and challenges. Inclusion and Wellbeing: Actively contribute to the organisation's inclusion and wellbeing strategies by fostering a culture of respect and professionalism within the team and broader organisation.
