Working in a fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll have a key role in shaping Raylo’s financial planning and analysis processes, including by supporting with standardising the budgeting process and improving our variance and KPI reporting to enhance the visibility of financial performance across the business. Within 3 months, you’ll be familiar with the financial model, including financial modelling best practices, draft variance analysis and support with board and shareholder communications. By 6 months, you’ll be able to update the financial model and prepare variance analysis and KPI reporting, and by 12 months, you’ll be running sensitivity analyses, tracking divisional budgets, and engaging directly with divisional heads. 2-3 years in a highly analytical finance role within investment banking, asset management, private equity, M&A advisory, or a comparable function, with exposure to startup, tech, or high-growth environments. Educational Foundation:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, or a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel for complex financial modelling, with experience in balance sheet-driven financial companies or project finance modelling preferred. Familiarity with SQL and Looker is beneficial but not required. Analytical Rigour:
Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for using data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Effective Communication:
Ability to convey complex financial insights at different levels of altitude, including to non-financial stakeholders through clear verbal and written communication. Collaborative Mindset:
A proactive, self-sufficient approach to data gathering and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset are essential.
