About The Position We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Finance Associate to join our growing Finance team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on critical initiatives at the intersection of finance, strategy, and renewable energy development. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping Fuse Energy’s financial strategy, supporting key corporate development projects, and driving long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities Fundraising Support: Assist in capital raising initiatives, including preparing investor presentations, financial models, and due diligence materials to raise equity and debt. Financial Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company’s financial health in a dynamic energy market. Mergers & Acquisitions: Identify, evaluate, and execute potential M&A opportunities for renewable energy assets, including market research, financial analysis, and transaction execution support. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term strategic plans, analysing market trends and financial performance to support decision-making. Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on financial KPIs, creating actionable insights to improve business performance. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other finance partners. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA, MBA) is a plus. 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a strategic finance role. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
