Job Description
Responsible for liaising with your designated departmental area, developing and communicating a clear strategic vision with the goals of the LA.
Delivering strategic financial advice to senior stakeholders.
Contributing to financial planning and budget management.
Evaluating financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborating with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
Providing financial input into the development of strategic plans.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Monitoring and analysing financial data and trends.
Contributing to the development of financial policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Strategic Finance Business Partner should have:
Qualified Accountant.
Excellent Business Partnering experience.
Minimum of 5 years local authority experience.
Ideally with either Education, Child Services, Adult service or City experience.
Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision that aligns with the team.
Strong expertise in financial management and planning.
Ability to deliver strategic advice and contribute to financial planning.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
What's on Offer
Day rate between £550 and £650 a day dependent on experience.
Minimum 6 month role.
Remote role 1 day a month onsite.
The opportunity to contribute to significant public sector projects.
