What You'll Do As the Strategic Lead for Resilience & Emergency Planning, you'll be the council's leading expert on emergency preparedness, response, and recovery. From crafting and activating robust emergency plans to coordinating responses during critical incidents, your work will directly impact the safety and well-being of Croydon's residents. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners, chairing the Croydon Resilience Forum to drive strategy, innovation, and excellence. With a focus on compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, you’ll also play a pivotal role in business continuity, ensuring our operations withstand disruptions. What You Bring We're looking for a leader with expertise in emergency management and business continuity, a proven track record in crisis response, and the ability to inspire teams under pressure.
