The salary for this role is £59,723 + excellent benefits package, and our hybrid working policy is to be onsite for 3 days per week; however, we do offer the opportunity for flexible working. This role requires employees to

complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) , including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions. As

Strategic People Business Partner , you will play a pivotal role supporting the Directorate Leadership Team in developing department/programme/business unit people plans aligned to the business priorities and UKAEA mission and goals. You will be working closely with the Director of People and People colleagues in L&D, TA, and Pay & Reward, ensuring current and future capability requirements are met. You will also be acting as the strategic People lead for assigned departments/programmes/business units, including responsibility for instigating, managing, and implementing strategic projects, from scoping and design to delivery and realization. Projects will cover resourcing, employee engagement, organizational design, and talent development. Additional Responsibilities: Contributing to developing the organizational strategy by ensuring that the people agenda is integrated into it, demonstrating a deep understanding of organization strategy and direction. Working collaboratively with Trades Union colleagues and employee representative groups, influencing as appropriate. Championing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the role. Deputizing for senior colleagues as necessary. Researching, benchmarking, piloting, implementing, evaluating, and reviewing People policies, as required. Delivering important business intelligence to colleagues in the People Department to inform service improvements, working collaboratively to enable the development and implementation of those improvements. Qualifications

Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience. CIPD Qualified to L7 (Diploma). Extensive experience of business partnering at a strategic level in a complex environment. Experience of advising on EDI, Pay and Reward, OD&D, ER, and L&D. Excellent people skills, including coaching and developing others. Experience of developing strategic priorities and using those priorities to enable culture change. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Able to challenge robustly. Creative in finding solutions to support the organization to achieve its goals.
