Strategic Pricing Manager focuses on prepare robust business cases for approval at country and above-country level, in line with pricing governance requirements.

What the role involves

  • Prepare robust business cases for approval at country and above-country level, in line with pricing governance requirements.
  • Develop pricing recommendations for new launches.
  • Delivering assumption-based analyses of pricing strategies.
  • Supporting the development of strategic pricing scenarios, opportunity assessments and business cases linked to commercial priorities.
  • Provide launch planning support for future indications, including assessment of the impact of new presentations or formulations.
  • Attend internal brand and asset team meetings, offering constructive challenge and strategic pricing input to support decision-making.

Skills and requirements

  • Strong strategic mindset, with at least four years’ experience in business-facing roles providing insight and analytical support for key decision-making.
  • Degree educated, with postgraduate and/or professional qualifications in an analytical, numerical or business-related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI. Experience of pricing platforms and workflow management systems is desirable.
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
