Your new company A medium-sized and vital charity based in the heart of Sheffield is needing to relocate their offices. This role is suited to a consultant who has a proven track record of supporting businesses with an office relocation. The role would be on a part-time basis, supporting the charity as and when required.

Your new role You will take responsibility for the coordination and management of their relocation to new, currently unidentified premises in Sheffield city centre. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the relocation project is executed smoothly and on schedule. You will be responsible for ensuring that all the necessary tasks are completed and that everyone involved is kept informed of progress, working closely with the Strategic Leadership Team, as the charity moves to their new long-term home.

What you'll need to succeed Liaise with charity staff and clients to establish requirements and preferences for their new home Research potential new properties and explore existing prospects Liaise with property agents Provide regular reports on progress, implications of new sites, and forecasted budget Work closely with the finance team to ensure that the project stays on budget and meets agreed objectives Work with the vendors and suppliers to get quotes and compare prices Alongside their Facilities & Tenancy Coordinator, lead on the close down of our current building and the practical arrangements of relocating a medium-sized charity to new premises The post holder is responsible for taking reasonable care with regard to themselves as well as for any colleagues or visitors who might be affected by any act or failure to act by the post holder in accordance with Health and Safety at Work.
