Exciting Opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Manager.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing procurement expenditure and product-related services, including the development of strategic relationships with existing, former, and future suppliers. You will ensure requirements are met on time and in accordance with appropriate quality standards, delivering a highly capable and cost-effective supply base. Focus must be on developing and implementing leadership and direction to the commodity management teams and other areas of Supply Chain management when required.

This role entails operating at a management level with a high degree of autonomy, whilst managing, mentoring, and developing an effective Commodity Team response globally, delivering cost-effective solutions for our Cargo site. In this role, you will define and own the capability, strategy, and operational excellence of your assigned commodities.

Qualifications:

Experience in procurement and Supply Chain Management processes, including quality management, financial analysis, and contract negotiations.

Experience as a Category Manager, Commodity Manager, or Strategic Sourcing Manager.

Commodities purchasing experience in IT, electrical/electronic control & automation, mechanical, and fabrication.

MCIPS / APICS membership, equivalent or qualified by experience.

Experience in negotiation and supplier relationship management.

Experience with cost reduction in purchased parts and/or services.

Familiarity with MRP/ERP software.

Knowledge of Agile PLM.

Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and supply market dynamics.

Knowledge of ISO quality assurance methods.
