This role is crucial for the organisation in the development and delivery of a new 3-year Wellbeing strategy to establish and maintain clear measurement frameworks for the assessment of health risks and key interventions. Review and update wellbeing policies to ensure fit for purpose whilst incorporating evidence-based good practice. Shape and lead the annual wellbeing programme including targeted activity to support business need. Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver proactive subject matter expertise and support. Role Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development and implementation of a new 3-year strategy, ensuring alignment with our Company objectives and story. Explore emerging wellbeing topics to inform and shape the strategy with a focus on early intervention and promoting a culture of openness. Establish strong working relationships with peers across Europe and Canada to discuss alignment (where applicable), best practice and areas for collaboration. Lead and facilitate targeted and impactful wellbeing initiatives and broader campaigns, including wellbeing programme calendar of events and development of colleague ‘Life Stories’. Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to sequence key initiatives and campaigns. Lead on behavioural insights across business functions and hybrid working innovation projects to help promote the importance of early intervention for mental and physical wellbeing. Identify and support wellbeing award entry submissions. Management of 3rd party providers. Act as the Wellbeing SME and key point of contact for People Relation Partners on wellbeing and absence related matters to ensure People leaders are supported and equipped with sufficient knowledge on how to navigate difficult conversations and group dynamics. SME attendance at the Mental Health First Aid meetings to help drive the agenda for change and strategic mental health campaigns/events. Use people data to identify health and wellbeing trends and priorities. Work with DEI to identify best practice on how to drive inclusivity to improve wellbeing. Own the workplace wellbeing and mental health policies to ensure fit for purpose. Key representative at benefits roadshows/events to support engagement and education. Experience Required for Position:
Proven experience leading wellbeing initiatives or large-scale programmes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Experience of producing high quality, evidence-based reports and briefings to deliver change in policy and practice. Demonstrable experience of project leadership, planning and collaboration with key stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant legal and statutory requirements. Benefits of working at Canada Life:
