Working in Continental Power Trading Within our Continental Power Trading hub, we have a small team of professionals responding to complexities of multiple energy markets. Located in London and Germany, the group navigates diverse and interconnected markets. Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Strategist/ Trader to generate value through Proprietary Trading in the Continental European Power markets. The ideal candidate is skilled in power fundamentals with the desire to bring their analysis to conclusions to derive trade ideas. We also require this individual to excel under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This will be a full time position based in either Dusseldorf or London, reporting into the Head of Continental Power Trading. The responsibilities will include as follows: Conduct a deep review of all existing tools and analysis Analyse markets and run existing models Support team with delivering input and trade suggestions Evolve into trading role with opportunity to run own proprietary risk Maintain and develop internal and external relationships to improve market information flow within the book, ensuring complete coverage of all potential supply and demand opportunities and executing a long-term growth strategy. Deliver on agreed financial and non-financial performance targets, developing, and crafting value around the portfolio and utilising market knowledge to improve trading opportunities while staying within defined risk limits. Qualifications

University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Science or similar Proven track record in fundamental analysis of the European Power markets Strong commercial acumen Analytical and highly numerical, with great attention to details Python is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in effective and direct communication at all levels Additional Information
