Full time I am working with one of the UK's leading independent regional strategy consulting firms who, due to growth, are seeking an ambitious, strategically orientated, and commercially aware consultant to support client work across a range of market sectors including: Financial Services, Technology, FinTech, Higher Education, Consumer & Retail, Property, and Professional Services. The firm's clients are mainly private sector service industry companies and professional advisers, who engage with the consultancy firm to help with one or more of the following: Business planning Implementation support The role The Consultant will be directly involved in the portfolio of client work as well as supporting the business development aims. Working closely with the five Directors, the Consultant will benefit from their combined experience of working in strategy and marketing disciplines. This position will provide the successful candidate with diverse hands-on experience that could be used as a springboard for a future career in consulting or a wide range of businesses/industries. Job purpose: To shape, plan, and deliver client advisory workstreams and projects, including strategy advisory and commercial due diligence (cdd) projects. To support the development of the wider business by identifying opportunities and building relationships. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Support the delivery of consulting and cdd projects through research, analysis, and the generation and presentation of relevant insight. Deliver key work packages within consulting and cdd projects. Lead selected projects, including the co-ordination and planning of internal and external resources, taking accountability for the shaping and production of high-quality deliverables and being the primary point of contact for the client. Support client engagement through attendance and contribution to meetings and workshops. Support project delivery through the production of high-quality written and verbal outputs. Support business development through market opportunity research and analysis. Support business development through the production of high-quality blogs, discussion papers, and proposals, and through engagement with the regional business ecosystem at events and presentations. Support the learning and development of other team members through the sharing of best practices. Enhance the brand through relationship building with existing clients. Support the development of the overall Whitecap proposition through the production of high-quality documents outlining areas of organizational expertise, approach, and case studies. Liaise and attend meetings with team members necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong business mindset and a tendency towards strategy development and strategic marketing. Existing skills and knowledge should be supported by a strong desire for personal development and continued learning through project work. Personality:

Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well-presented and business-like. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel up to a few days a month within the UK. Keen for new experiences, responsibilities, and accountability. Able to work effectively alone when required and get on with others as a team player. Specific Job Skills:

Graduate qualified and ideally with a minimum of 7-8 years' work experience. Strong strategic thinking and conceptual thinking skills. Strong research and analytical skills. Able to communicate effectively via written media. Understands the principles of commercial strategy and strategic marketing including target business models, target operating models, market segmentation, proposition development, drivers of customer behavior, and market disruption. Must be adept in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Literacy and Numeracy:

Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc. Must be a very competent writer of presentations and proposals.
