As our Streetworks Auditor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our streetworks operations are compliant with NRSWA, TMA, and internal standards. You'll be the guardian of quality, safety, and efficiency, driving continuous improvement through rigorous auditing, training, and process optimisation. You will be based in our Wednesbury office Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Champion:

Conduct in-depth audits of permit requests, job execution, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and potential risks.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee the quality of streetworks activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Training & Development:

Provide targeted training and coaching to team members to enhance their knowledge and skills, fostering a culture of excellence.

Risk Mitigation:

Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could lead to fines, delays, or safety incidents.

Data-Driven Insights:

Leverage data analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement:

Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall operational performance.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including statutory undertakers, local authorities, and clients.

Incident Investigation:

Support incident investigations, analysing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of NRSWA, TMA, and related regulations.

Auditing Skills:

Proven experience in conducting audits and identifying areas for improvement.

Training & Coaching:

Strong ability to train and mentor team members.

Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

Proactive Approach:

Self-motivated and proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions.

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
