A regional Civil Engineering and Utilities Contractor is seeking a Streetworks Co-ordinator / Planner to work from its Portsmouth depot.
Job Description
Assisting the Project Manager in planning the work.
Liaising with managers and supervisors.
Communicating with Highway authorities, Traffic management companies, and attending site meetings.
Applying for Opening/Closing Streetworks permits.
Applying for Temporary Traffic Road Orders (TTRO), parking, bus stop, loading bay, and taxi rank suspensions.
Recording registrations, defects, and fixed penalty fines.
Ensuring site management is aware of and provided with up-to-date permit numbers and conditions information.
Keeping records to assist the Commercial Department.
Job Requirements
Experience is preferred; training will be provided.
Conversant with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good presentation preparation and delivery skills.
Strong writing skills for reports and internal/external communication.
Highly self-motivated, a confident communicator at all levels, and sets a high standard through example regarding compliance with company safety standards.
