The Structural Designer will provide innovative, structurally sound packaging solutions in a timely manner for customers in the Pharmaceutical and retail product industries. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and effectively communicating cost-effective solutions with customers, external vendors, and internal stakeholders. Essential Job Functions As part of a collaborative team, create high-end structural designs for folding cartons and structural marketing materials. Deliver 3D renderings and physical packaging prototypes for customer presentations. Provide die lines for clients, prepress, and estimating. Ensure designs meet all customer specifications and standards. Work within all established protocols and procedures and develop new processes as needed. Work collaboratively with design team members to identify and develop the best possible packaging solution. Effectively communicate design decisions and detailed production requirements. Maintain clear organization of large ongoing projects involving a multitude of components and revisions. Organize and manage all digital die lines. Qualifications: Must understand the entire design process from concept, prototype, and production. Must understand all processes of folding carton die cutting and gluing. Knowledge and experience in Artios CAD is required. Knowledge of steel rule dies a plus. Knowledge and experience in 3D programs a plus but not required.
