About the Role As a Structural Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: Collaborating with our design team to provide innovative, cost-effective, and practical solutions for ongoing projects. Supporting the construction department with expert advice and technical designs to ensure seamless project delivery. Offering engineering services externally, working directly with clients and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes. This role is freelance to start, offering flexibility and autonomy. For the right candidate, there is potential to transition to a permanent position.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Structural Engineer in the design and build environment. Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial construction projects. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar). Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team. Based in or willing to commute to Brighton.
