About Us Griffen Design Ltd is a well-established engineering consultancy specializing in delivering innovative and practical structural solutions. About the Role As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing projects involving steel and timber construction. Working closely with clients and our in-house team, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects from conception through to completion. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed structural designs and calculations for steel and timber construction projects. • Manage project workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions. • Conduct site visits and inspections to support project progress. • Assist in mentoring junior staff and contribute to the development of the team. What We’re Looking For • Near-chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., ICE, IStructE). • Experience in steel and timber design and construction. • Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles. • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar). • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
