Responsibilities
Contributing to the delivery of small to medium infrastructure projects as part of a technically focused design
Production of designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes
Ensuring the provision of efficient and high-quality engineering services, to a high level of quality assurance
Point of contact for clients, contractors, design team and third parties including architects
Offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team where necessary
Effectively manage own time
Requirements Please read these requirements carefully before applying and ensure they are evident on your CV if you have achieved them. Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred. Incorporated Engineer (ICE or IStructE) and/or working towards Chartership.
Established skill and delivery in:
The design of building structures using the conventional engineering materials (steel concrete, timber, masonry) to both British Standards and Eurocodes
Effective Conceptual design
Ability to use AutoCAD and structural analysis software (Robot and Fastrak). Revit experience is also desirable
Experience in, and a desire to, collaborate within a technically orientated and technically focused team
Experience in the Cities and Development market (including commercial, residential and education)
Experience of working in the Defense market (preferred dependent on level of overall experience)
Experience of working on multi-discipline projects (preferred, depending on level of overall experience)
Sound commercial awareness and project management skills
