ABOUT THE ROLE This is a full-time, in-office position, working a steady 8 AM to 5 PM schedule with approximately 5% travel as needed. As a Structural Engineer with Klute, you will design and analyze steel structures for transmission lines and power substations. You will start your morning by reviewing project specifications and preparing preliminary/bid calculations. Collaborating with architects, project managers, and clients, you will develop effective engineering solutions. After lunch, you will prepare detailed engineering drawings and review shop drawings, ensuring all designs meet safety standards and specifications. Occasionally, you will conduct site visits to inspect ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with design requirements. QUALIFICATIONS 0 – 2 years of experience and EIT Certification Knowledge of ASCE/AISC load calculations and steel connection design concepts Self-motivated with a professional attitude and attention to detail Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ready to take the next step in your career with our steel fabrication company?
