Role Responsibilities Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and design teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Execute and coordinate projects with a focus on delivering high-quality technical designs. Manage and control the financial aspects of small to medium-sized projects. Produce detailed technical design information, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports. Conduct structural surveys and prepare comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations. Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering professional development. Oversee feasibility studies, design meetings, and site inspections, providing expert recommendations. Ensure adherence to quality procedures, safety standards, and project timelines. Assist in preparing bids, proposals, and marketing materials to support business development efforts.

Key Skills and Requirements Qualifications:

HND/HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering. Technical Knowledge:

Proficiency in engineering principles, British Standards/Eurocodes, and design software. Experience:

Competence in designing with concrete, steelwork, timber, and masonry for new builds and refurbishments. Soft Skills:

Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills. Leadership:

Experience supervising, mentoring, and delegating tasks to junior team members. Project Expertise:

Skilled in managing client relationships, identifying engineering solutions, and preparing detailed specifications and reports. Safety Awareness:

Familiarity with CDM regulations and buildability aspects.
