Our client is a multi-award winning independent Structural Engineering Consultancy. A people-focused business with a strong belief in technical expertise. Due to continued growth, the business has an excellent opportunity for a talented Structural Engineer to join the team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be a degree-qualified Structural Engineer with at least 2 years of experience working for a Structural Engineering Consultancy. The business is hoping to find an individual focused on becoming chartered and showing a keen interest in attending industry events and seminars. There is a strong focus around mentorship and shared learning and a proven track record in guiding engineers through chartership. Projects are diverse and interesting, spanning commercial, education, and leisure sectors. They include high-profile schemes for luxury retail and prestigious commercial clients. About you

2-4 years’ experience in a design-based role in a UK consultancy. Experience of developing designs in a range of Structural materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber. Ability to communicate effectively, explaining ideas to colleagues, clients, and external collaborators. Ability to produce design information and structural reports. Knowledge of Revit, Robot, and Tekla Structural Designer would be an advantage. The ability to create drawings, sketches, and reports, with a high level of detail in line with project timescales.
