is expanding and looking to recruit a Structural Engineer, who will have the opportunity to work on exciting new ventures and undertake site survey work. There will be a wide, varied workload and the role will focus on the design and management of a diverse range of projects including local government, commercial, custodial, residential, and central government. Take a look at some of our projects here: Discover our projects - Pick Everard You can expect to become involved in: A wide range of projects across sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, defence, and infrastructure. Your core duties will include: Ensuring high-quality technical delivery of projects Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. Assisting on Surveys and supporting junior staff members Acting as point of contact for client/contractor queries. Minimising health and safety risks in all aspects of structural discipline and input to the wider project health and safety assessment. About You Our ideal Structural Engineer must have: A minimum of BSc or BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, MSc or MEng preferred Good verbal communication – able to discuss work and communicate effectively to work collaboratively as part of a team Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice, and methods of construction Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (AutoCAD and Revit) It would be nice for you to have: The ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks Approaching Incorporated/Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE Experience visiting sites The motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledge About Us Our nationwide multidisciplinary team of 650+ work collaboratively to deliver outstanding places and spaces that create lasting value for local communities.
