35k - 45k + benefits (dependent on experience) + yearly bonus, hybrid working (2 days from home), pension, healthcare, various other benefits Emtech Recruitment are working with a growing Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy who are expanding their team with the appointment of a Structural Engineer. The position is available due to some large upcoming projects that the company need to deliver. You will be joining a structural engineering team of 20 working alongside disciplines in the office. On offer is the chance to work on a wide range of projects across leisure facilities, university buildings, commercial, apartment schemes, high end residential and more. They work across all materials and have Chartered Structural Engineers in place to support with Chartership development. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of a Senior/Principal Engineer in the production of schematic/concept designs and structural design calculations within defined project timescales Liaising with other construction professionals in the development of designs Prior experience in structural design for building led projects Undertaking structural designs using ROBOT or TEKLA and by hand as required Directing technicians in the production of AutoCAD and REVIT drawing information undertaking and quality reviews of drawn information prior to issue Responsible for the analysis and design of building structures, progressing to overall design of structures Ability to produce drawings using Autocad software Visiting sites and attending site meetings Involvement in internal project design meetings Attend external design meetings with clients and other design team members Prepare correspondence and reports Benefits:
