Job Description
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Structural Steel welder/Fabricator, who can Mig weld and Plate weld.
The successful candidate will be expected to work with customers and our project management team to produce the best possible solution to their requirement.
Responsibilities:
Have a good engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Have a proven track record as a fabricator with a minimum of 3 years plater welding experience. Ability to work with all types of metal up to 30mm. Ability to read engineer drawings. MMA experience would be advantageous. Have good attention to detail. Be able to finish a product to a very high standard. Be available to work weekends when needed. Be punctual and a good timekeeper. Be confident, organised, and methodical. Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others. Work well as a team member. Be able to problem solve and come up with solutions.
Benefits: Plenty of opportunities for personal development and individual growth prospects. 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday) plus overtime (Evening and weekends) at competitive overtime rates. Salary £16.00 per hour with 2x further increases within the first 9 months. 8% pension.
