Structural Revit Technician

to join our team. YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED? Working on a variety of interesting projects encompassing Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Energy, Heritage, Commercial, Industrial, and hospitality buildings sectors. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design. Working with an already established team of engineers and Revit/CAD technicians, you will: Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information. Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients, and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes. Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant, and construction. Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration. WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering. Experience in Building Structures as a Technician. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software. Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided). Gained strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role. Proficiency at planning and organising workload. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent presentation skills. Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience of working on a range of projects across a variety of sectors. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
