Do you have experience installing Structured cabling systems and seeking an opportunity to join a leading Structured cabling, IT, wireless, and technology company?

We are now looking for a network engineer willing to travel to provide possible national coverage for the installation and support of all structured cabling services; however, the role will mainly be based within the Norfolk area. Further training will be provided on all aspects of the role. This role would suit somebody who has experience installing copper and fibre cabling systems who is looking for an opportunity to work for high-profile clients while developing their skills and have a clear progression opportunity. Requirements:

Ability to install, terminate and test all types of fibre and copper systems (Manufacturer or industry training desirable) Ability to work with and install all types of containment systems Experience of working within a similar role and environment On-site installation of Containment, which may include Tray Work, Basket, Conduit, and PVC trunking Installation of Server Cabinets, Network Equipment, Wireless Access Points Assisting with Network Migrations / Cutovers Taking Images and Documenting Your Work - Uploading to Our Online Platform using your Smart-Phone Ability to use Fluke copper & fibre test equipment Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional and consistent manner Must be able to work as part of a team in live Offices, Warehouses & Retail environments Must be able to take direction and instruction from the site supervisor and be self-sufficient Willing to have security clearance checks carried out CSCS/ESC Card Must have a Driving License with a willingness to travel and stay away Ability to read architectural drawings Excellent understanding of health and safety practice Experienced in the setting up, use, and understanding of the results from a Fluke DSX8000/5000 or similar test equipment Experience with the safe and correct use of ladders and other access equipment Experience with the correct and safe use of power tools English Language (written and verbal) to a GCSE level or equivalent, as you should be able to demonstrate good communication skills, written, over the phone No criminal record
