Inside IR35 My client is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team to deliver structured cabling and related technology projects at their customer site. The Project Engineer will be working the hours of 19:00 - 04:00 Monday through to Friday. Role Responsibilities Provide assistance to the Night Manager, line managing those employees directly assigned to the project(s) consistent with employee expectations, general company policy, and best practice. Operate with regard to the Health & Safety of employees and third parties, ensuring consistency with company and statutory obligations. Successfully manage customer projects to time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives. Ensure that the projects are delivered in accordance with company and customer processes, procedures, and statutory obligations, taking overall responsibility for project quality. Ensure necessary project practices are in place and used and developed to reflect recognized best practice. Provide timely and accurate internal and customer project reporting. Professionally represent the company, protecting its assets and reputation. Attend nightly briefing calls. Assist the Night Manager in ensuring all resources have required paperwork, tools & materials to enable works to be completed in accordance with Health & Safety standards. Participate in any training that the company may reasonably ask to achieve accreditations and qualifications essential for the fulfillment of duties. Propose and champion innovations and improvements to the business and its processes. Ideal Candidate Previous experience in managing site teams in the structured cabling industry. Experience of Risk Assessments and Health & Safety working practices. Knowledge required to manage a safe construction site, CITB SSSTS qualification or equivalent. Valid ECS health & safety card. Health & Safety CDM knowledge. Familiarity with industry-standard testers and testing procedures. Excellent technical understanding of structured cabling design and technologies. Articulate, a self-starter, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to demonstrate experience in pragmatically solving problems. Please apply!
