We are excited to be advertising for a Structured Clinical Management (SCM) practitioner role based here in adult secondary care in Haringey. The role will involve offering Structured Clinical Management interventions to people with Complex Emotional Needs. You will primarily be based in our Complex PTSD pathway and offer interventions here and in the Personality Disorder pathway.
The SCM Practitioner role offers the opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced mental health practitioner to further develop their skills in offering an evidenced-based intervention for service users with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN). The post holder will work alongside other SCM practitioners and Practitioner Psychological therapists within specialised MDTs to implement SCM as part of a core offer.
You will have access to SCM training and regular supervision (e.g. group and/or individual). You will provide 1:1 and group interventions to service users with complex emotional and relational needs and other comorbidities (e.g. PTSD symptoms) and support the development of an innovative service for this client group.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Mental Health Practitioner (e.g. RMN, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Associate Psychologist) with training in SCM, DBT or MBT and an existing interest in complex PTSD and complex trauma.
