The role operates within the Structured Lending business within the Commercial Franchise. The Structured Lending Servicing (SLS) department is the bridge between Originations, Portfolio and Customer Support to manage complex SME customer account onboarding and in-life operational needs. SLS is a specialist team that understands customer account needs across several different financial products and industries, and provides services to support Structured Lending growth. A successful candidate will: Process and coordinate customer payout activity and documentation to a high degree of accuracy and timeliness to deliver excellent customer outcomes. Operate in-life customer account management activities in the Structured Finance products including but not limited to validating and processing customer account system changes, customer repayments, settlements and terminations while interacting with customers to ensure requests are processed effectively. Support the Structured Lending Servicing (SLS) function, contributing to the creation/maintenance of associated processes and procedures, and full compliance with the same. Adhere to a right-first-time approach with a strong focus on accuracy of process completion, data/record-keeping, documentation management and due diligence. Contribute towards a positive and engaged culture within SLS, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, consistency of approach and operational flexibility. Work collaboratively with other areas within Structured Finance, such as portfolio management and origination teams, as well as other areas across the Bank, including Finance, Risk and Customer Support. Maintain strong risk management within SLS, with processes and process checks completed in a manner that limits/mitigates potential risks. Develop and maintain capability across the Structured Finance product set/areas of specialism. Support the testing and implementation of new/upgraded systems. The Person Circa 2 years' financial services sales support or operations experience. Loan, leasing or asset finance experience will be highly advantageous. Experience and knowledge of financial services regulation relating to the provision of finance to consumers and businesses specifically AML, TCF, CCA and DPA. Minimum GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
