Thornfield Business Park, Standard Way Northallerton DL6 2XQ Mon to Fri: 9.00am to 5.30pm The role Working as part of a large team, you’ll be responsible for negotiating and securing battery storage options, wayleaves and easements, and be able to successfully negotiate compensation claims for agricultural losses. The work will be varied including: acquisition of wayleaves consents, easements and land access permissions; negotiation and settlement of agricultural, wayleave and property loss claims. You’ll be expected to meet and communicate with our grantors, customers, Land Agents, local authorities and statutory bodies, attend site meetings and share advice and technical knowledge with our colleagues and contractors. Ideally you will be: Customer focused Extremely organised and IT literate Have the ability to communicate effectively with our Stakeholders, Engineers and Contractors Experience and used to working well under pressure Able to manage multiple jobs whilst maintaining an attention to detail You will be required to demonstrate an understanding in one of the following key areas: Property and Law, Agriculture, Land Management, Environment, Valuation, or a related subject and be prepared to undertake further study if necessary to achieve membership of RICS (inc. AssocRICS) or CAAV if not already qualified. At least 2 years knowledge will be required. About you: Hold a Full, clean UK Driving Licence Ideally hold 2 A levels, a HND or a Degree (in a related subject) Be prepared to undertake further study if necessary to achieve membership of RICS (inc. AssocRICS) or CAAV if not already qualified. (At least 2 years knowledge will be required.)
