Working with the cancer services STT team, the post holder will support with administrative duties for the Lower GI STT service. You will support the Navigators and STT clinical team with suspected cancer pathways through the facilitation and coordination of administrative duties, typing, and FIT results.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the STT team with all administrative duties. Typing the STT letters. Making and answering calls and handling queries. Following processes to ensure a FIT result is available for all patients referred to the Trust on a lower GI suspected cancer pathway. Ensuring that all data and FIT reports are acted upon, and the data captured on SCR. Assisting in the validation of all data relating to FIT testing. Ensuring that all deadlines are met to ensure patient pathways are not compromised. Working with the MDT coordinators and trackers to help manage Lower GI pathways while avoiding duplication. Using the Trust's Cancer Registry system and Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Excel spreadsheets) to add and manage relevant data pertaining to waiting times, audit, and FIT data. Assisting and providing administrative and clerical support to the cancer services management team as required. Carrying out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the cancer services management team. Collecting data to support research and audits. Managing the generic STT inbox. Managing the benign/routine tracker for patients that have been stepped off the 2WW pathway. Supporting with booking appointments and arranging complex appointments for patients.
