We are recruiting to the post of Student Casework Officer, based within the Academic Registry. Working closely with the Student Casework Manager, the Casework Officer will provide expert advice and guidance on the range of University casework procedures including Complaints, Disciplinary, Fitness to Study and Fitness to Practise. They will deliver day to day administrative support for Student Complaints, including overseeing casework activity, drafting Completion of Procedures letters and collating student case files for submission to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and professional individual with a passion for providing a high quality service in sensitive and complex circumstances. You will have experience of handling Student Casework, preferably within a HE setting and have a good understanding of the HE sector, including relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks e.g. the Office of the Independent Adjudicator. In this role you will work proactively and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across both Academic Institutes and Professional Services to support and manage student casework activity, applying learning to improve the student experience and to inform and influence internal policy development. Hybrid working arrangements can be supported for this role, in line with business needs, with a minimum of 3 days a week on campus each week. Interviews are expected to take place on Tuesday 4 February on the Lancaster Campus.
