Full time The University of Bedfordshire is looking to appoint an accredited (BACP, UKCP, BABCP, BPS or equivalent) counsellor to join the Student Counselling Team. You must hold a recognised qualification and a proven ability to manage risk. The successful candidate will provide brief, solution-focused therapy as part of a wider team that supports student attainment and retention. You will be working with students with complex and wide-ranging issues. You will carry an individual caseload and contribute to ongoing service development. You will be able to conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online video appointments. Experience of providing excellent support is essential. Candidates should also have a clear understanding of how the organisational context of a higher education institution may affect therapeutic decisions. We recognise the value of a diverse team and particularly welcome applications from candidates from under-represented groups in the counselling profession. Interview Date:
