£22,733 FTE per annum (

The Role: As our
Student Engagement Coach , you will further develop and implement the college Student Voice and Representation structures. You will work with curriculum, support staff, and students to ensure Student Voice and Representation is student-led and meaningful for students. Responsibilities as our Student Engagement Coach: Supporting with the planning and promotion of all Students’ Union activities and events across The College in conjunction with the wider Student Inclusion and Support teams. Being responsible for the roll-out of Student Voice and Representation across the college, supporting to ensure that all Student Executives and Student Reps are trained, supported, and have all the skills to achieve in their role. Running fair elections in line with the BPCSU Constitution. Assisting with training and supporting Student Exec member’s development. Organising meetings between sites for the Student Exec Team and completing administration duties; creating all documents and taking minutes. Being based within the social spaces of the Students’ Union, across all sites, and ensuring that all aspects of Health and Safety and behavior are maintained at all times. Ensuring these spaces are vibrant and engaging for our students. Working with all staff within the Student Inclusion and Support Directorate to ensure that visibility and promotion of the Students’ Union and Student Engagement is clear and well embedded throughout The College. As our Student Engagement Coach, you’ll ideally have: Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths Experience of leading a project with staff and/or students. Competent in Microsoft Office applications Highly developed communication skills both on an individual basis and in group settings. The ability to work independently and meet engagement targets.
