If so, here at Hastings Hotels, Northern Irelands leading hotel group, we have an amazing opportunity for you to apply for a 1 year paid Student Placement commencing in Summer 2025 across a range of our hotels in the following areas: Culinary Arts Housekeeping Food & Beverage Front Office Hastings Hotels have been working with universities and colleges for a number of years to offer students an enviable opportunity to establish a lasting career with a large independent Hotel Group. The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out seven Hours and salary vary depending on the role, but the minimum salary is £21,294 per annum. About The Role Continuous guidance under the leadership, coaching and mentoring of the experienced Head of department at each property. To offer a professional hands-on approach, with particular emphasis on customer service in each of your training placements. Take responsibility for developing your knowledge and skills in each student placement. Ensure the Hastings standards of service are understood and always delivered. Support and motivate team members to enable them to provide exceptional customer service. To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures. Support operational managers achieve departmental objectives. To work effectively with colleagues to a ensure harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity. To be fully conversant with our culture, working practices and product knowledge. To provide the highest standards of service to guests, ensuring all guest needs and expectations are met. To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and be proactive in the sale of these to guests Any other duties as required by management. About You We would love you to have similar previous experience but this is not essential as we will provide you with full training.
