What Is The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for students studying a relevant degree to join us for a placement year. The role will be varied with the opportunity to experience a busy, growing, Fashion focused office. The role will support the departments with effective management of the department administration and gain a knowledge, understanding and first-hand experience to help put theory into practice. Current placement opportunities across all our brands will suit individuals interested in the following areas: Buying Merchandising Garment Technology Print Design Fashion Marketing What you will do
Specific responsibilities will be dependent on the area and can vary. We aim to give placement students as much experience of the working environment as possible and you will get involved in varied tasks throughout the placement year as well as day-to-day admin duties. More details of the key responsibilities for the specific roles will be given to the applicant when the role they are applying for has been identified and they are invited for interview. A passion for fashion particularly in the nonstandard sizing market Good communication skills both verbal and written The ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative Good time management & organisational skills A self-motivated and proactive approach to completing given tasks A willingness to learn & the ability to work under pressure Strong attention to detail A commercial outlook and a keen business sense A proven record of good attendance & flexibility The ability to adapt to frequent change in a high pressure environment. Commitment to behaving with integrity and professionalism at all times For Print design roles, ability to provide a portfolio of print work and competent user of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator The Company
