This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on treatment experience with actual runners. This will count towards your Placement hours needed to qualify to become a Graduate Sports Therapist. The London Marathon is an internationally popular running event, where participants complete a 26.2 mile course around the streets of London. It is one of the seven major marathons around the world with over 50,000 runners taking on the challenge. We are working with several major charities at this event, supporting their runners after they have completed the marathon. Clinic4Sport has been involved in looking after marathon runners since 2008 and we are very proud to continue supporting them in 2025! WHAT TO EXPECT: You will be supervised by qualified Sports Therapists, Physiotherapists, Sports Rehabilitators, and Osteopaths. You will undergo a Health and Safety briefing, learn how the day will be run, as well as receive pre-event training which involves a variety of different handling techniques, ensuring you are safe to practice. We are also happy to train you in other areas that you feel you are lacking in or would like to improve on, as well as answer any questions you may have. You will be working with a wide variety of active individuals, from people doing ultramarathons and back-to-back marathons to others who may be doing their first marathon for fun! How to apply
