Learning Coach Role at Pitman Training Cambridge ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY As a Pitman Training Learning Coach, you will be primarily responsible for: Overseeing and co-ordinating a diary of e-assessments contracts, seeking opportunities to maximise these where possible. Ensuring that all our Pitman Training students are supported, motivated and encouraged throughout their learning journey. Providing exceptional customer service at all times. On a daily basis you will be conducting, but not limited to the following tasks: Manage, download, administer and invigilate high stake examinations, ensuring all policies are adhered to. Providing a first point of contact to student’s/exam candidates for any queries. Provide support throughout our student’s learning journey, for all queries in relation to their studies, ensuring resolution. Responsible for student welfare, developing rapport, celebrating student’s success. Motivating and encouraging students to help them reach their career and training goals. Monitor student progression, and where students face learning barriers, conduct discussions to aid completion. General Administration and record keeping, ensuring high levels of accuracy. Attaining specific performance KPIs to ensure the highest standards and performance. Assisting with the continued generation of content for social media platforms. Sharing in the responsibility and management of the day to day running of the training centre. Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested in the delivery of the companies’ objectives. Pitman students and exam candidates expect excellent standards of training, so good product knowledge and outstanding customer service skills are essential. You will be working closely with the existing team to constantly maintain and improve our services, and this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a passionate team and growing business. THE PERSON Passionate about helping others. Experience in administration, customer-focused environment, or other related role. Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to use initiative. Confident in using IT to download software and troubleshoot. Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload, and a proven ability to work with little supervision. An experienced and enthusiastic team player, able to provide comprehensive support for the wider team to achieve their goals. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite essential. Personality and attitude are key for this role, with a genuine interest in people and their professional development journey. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 9am till 5pm, Friday 9am - 4pm, and 1 Saturday per month 9am till 1pm. Flexibility for late evenings when required. This is a full time on location position. Salary: £12.21 an hour rising to £12.50 after successful probation period. Throughout, they have the support of our in-house Learning Coaches for queries, guidance, motivation and encouragement in order to help them achieve their goals - and that’s where you would come in. Alongside our commitment to helping our students achieve their career aspirations, we also host a wide range of e-assessments in our training centre which formulates a large part of the Learning Coach role.
