PLUS is a leading provider of summer English courses for international students aged 10 to 17. Accredited by the British Council, we are proud to host vibrant summer camps across the UK, creating unforgettable experiences for our students. Your Role as a Welfare Officer: Ensure the safety and welfare of international students and staff, adhering to safeguarding policies Investigate incidents, manage emergencies, and prepare detailed reports as needed Build strong relationships with Group Leaders, addressing queries and providing professional support Manage accommodation issues, conduct room checks, and maintain high standards of service Perform the duties outlined in the Activity Leader Job Description as needed, including but not limited to arrivals and departures, meals, and night duties Supervise sick students on excursion days and assist with hospital visits when required What we are looking for: Strong interpersonal and organisational skills Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially in challenging situations or emergencies Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced environment aligning with the Campus Manager’s expectations Capability to handle tasks requiring frequent walking across campus facilities First Aid Certification (valid) or willingness to attend an organised First Aid at Work course in June (details in the full job description) Essential Requirements: Right to work in the UK Willingness to undergo a Police/Criminal Record Check (e.g., Enhanced DBS Check) Provide 2 referees (at later stage) Valid First Aid Certification prior to the start of employment Availability to attend induction training in June (details to be confirmed) Availability to work full-time hours Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as required Further Information: Running Dates:

Average of 48 hours per week, across six days (opt-out form required to sign) Accommodation:

Full board provided (accommodation and three meals daily) by PLUS Salary rate: 18 – 20 years of age - £550 per week 21 and over - £700 per week Holiday:
